Business Development Manager Primary Responsibilities:
Growing market share through new business and execution of our strategy within specific strategic accounts and vertical markets in a selected geographic territory.
Responsible for strategically mapping out the selected territory of responsibility and aligning with key distributor partners to grow business efficiently and quickly.
Effectively build and manage a solid pipeline within all Government Verticals.
Responsible for planning, developing, and leading Power Breezer sales into all branches within the US Military.
Presenting and demonstrating the Power Breezer product lines to current and prospective clients, and closing the deals.
Working with the Dealer Development Team to set up and support dealer sales.
Managing and motivating distributor partners and 3rd Party Reps.
Participating in trade shows and other promotional events as needed.
Basic Requirements
Military Background (Senior Leader, Logistics, Contracting, or Maintenance) and/or extensive experience selling to the military is highly preferable.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, or design preferred, but equivalent experience considered, including previous military experience.
5+ years’ experience delivering professional sales presentations.
3-5 years of proven sales history into DoD or experience selling Safety/MRO products and/or services into the DoD, DOC, SLed, Public Safety, Fire, Federal, State, Local and/or similar end-user markets.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Requires 75% overnight travel during peak season for presentations, customer meetings, trade shows and training.
Self starter and strategic thinker with a sense of urgency that is methodical and intentional to achieve results.
Well organized, detail-oriented, results-focused, and able to work autonomously.
Must possess superior level discovery/diagnosis skills.
Command of Indirect leadership and coaching.
Ability to manage multiple channel partners.
Proficient in: G Suite (Google), Spreadsheets, Docs, making presentations.
CRM (Salesforce) experience is a bonus.
Military Retired or DOD Contracting card a plus.
Other Requirements
Requires current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
