Charlotte, NC..

Full Time

PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION REQUIRES YOU LIVE IN CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA.

Job Description:

If you are passionate about seeing your projects sprout and grow to be deployed all across the country, you will flourish with us. If you are also interested in making a difference (in your team, in your organization, and in the world), you will quickly come to call us home. We are a rapid growth technology company in the Charlotte metro area. We are looking for an electrical/sw engineer with experience in writing embedded code to be a part of our team.

If you were always interested in how things work, taking them apart and putting them back together, we would fit well together. If you appreciate the beauty of well designed hardware and software, Maxify is the place for you. If you have a fail-fast-and-improve attitude, you will enjoy and fit well with our company culture. If you don’t think twice about taking ownership and assuming responsibility and have the strength and self esteem to acknowledge you do not know everything, we are your next challenge.

We will want to see proven experience with writing multithreaded embedded code (RTOS) as well as understanding of software design concepts (data-structures, algorithms). Most importantly, we value a scientifically-oriented mindset (don’t reinvent but stand on prior knowledge, data-driven decision making). If you have some experience with image-processing and AI, that may come in handy as well.

The job is 50% work-from-home (write at home, test at the facility), and would also involve interacting regularly with other members of the R&D team as well as the production line and engineering group.

Pay is $80-100K (depending on your experience) as well as our benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and an employer matching 401(k) plan.

We are a business casual work environment which focuses on people’s growth where you learn from and work alongside passionate professionals in a growing company.
