As the Power Breezer Sky Strategic Account Manager, you will serve in a dual capacity: managing active accounts as an Account Manager and securing new business as a Business Development Manager within North America. Coordinating closely with Sales Leadership, you will manage strategic accounts in order to maintain existing business and expand our product offerings into those accounts as well as drive and execute business development activities to accelerate market share growth and end-user adoption of our Power Breezer Sky solution. This is a hands-on position that manages accounts through all stages of the entire sales cycle, from strategically targeting and selling new business at the C-Suite to active management of those accounts post-sale. This will require someone who can speak at multiple levels within each customer, not only in a sales and marketing capacity but also a financial and technical capacity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage strategic accounts to enhance the customer experience, expand product offerings and navigate through all challenges and achieve successful resolutions.
  • Acquire new business and execute our strategy by “Selling To The Top” within specific strategic accounts and vertical markets.
  • Effectively leverage modern selling strategies to acquire new business and build a solid new opportunity pipeline.
  • Demonstrate customer focus and curiosity with a strong desire to have a deep understanding of the customer’s safety, productivity and revenue objectives.
  • Lead key influencers at multiple levels within a given prospect through a complex sales process to drive end-user demand by understanding and addressing the customers’ needs and aligning our value-based solutions with the customer’s objectives.
  • Diligently record sales-related activities in our CRM as well as effectively plan and execute account planning tools and methodology (such as Miller Heiman, TAS, etc.)

Desired Skills / Requirements:

  • Someone who behaves with a high level of intelligence, integrity and initiative
  • At least 5 years of experience with demonstrated success with complex, technical sales up to VP and C-Suite level clients.
  • A strong background in consultative sales/solutions-based approach to end-users.
  • Someone who has a sense of urgency and is methodical and intentional to achieve desired results. 
  • Ideal candidates will be able to communicate with a range of stakeholders and wear multiple hats, such as business development, account management, product/project management, marketing, finance, technical.
  • Experience navigating and closing capital goods projects is preferred.  
  • Strong business/financial acumen.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, results-focused and able to work autonomously.
  • Must possess superior level listening and discovery/diagnosis skills.
  • Previous experience selling Safety/MRO products and/or services into the industrial manufacturing, logistics, fleet maintenance and/or similar end-user markets is desirable.
  • Located near a major airport is necessary; located near a distribution hub a plus
  • MUST be willing to work in 95+ degree environments for several hours at a time.
  • Willingness to travel 50% during the busy season and 25% in the offseason.
  • Experience with Google-Suite preferred.
  • CRM (Salesforce.com) experience and proficiency preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent experience considered including previous military experience will be considered
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
