OVERVIEW The NGAUS General Conference is the Association’s annual business meeting. Army and Air National Guard officers from all 50 states, three territories and the District of Columbia gather to network, set their legislative agenda and hear from America’s civilian and military leaders. Family members, industry representatives and local officials also attend.
AGENDA Recent speakers include congressional leaders, cabinet-level secretaries, Army and Air Force secretaries and chiefs, and other senior Pentagon officials.
SOCIAL EVENTS Primary social events include the States Dinner, Hospitality Night and Governor’s Farewell*. Other events include golf tournaments, 5K Fun Run, Mt. Rose hike, motorcycle ride, mixers and luncheons. Conference registration is $180.
*Break from tradition is the scheduling of the States Dinner for the evening after the First Business Session. Subsequently, the Governor’s Farewell will take place on the final evening of the conference.
